Copy from: Emmanuel College (University of Cambridge) Library The work is preceded by a two page dedication 'to the right honorable, William Earl of Pembroke, Lord Chamberlain of his majesty's household and one of his majesty's most honorable privy council and knight of the most noble order of the garter' plus five brief poetic encomiums by WB, RS, W[illiam] R[andolph] (Dr of Physic), I Stokes and Cecinit The Parny. Pembroke is William Herbert who lived 1580-1630. He founded Pembroke College and was a patron of Shakespeare.
